“his name is ____, and uhhh it’s been around 18 months now? i feel like when you get to experience the world with someone, someone in this way, it’s such a blessing to be thankful for

i mean we go from navigating ourselves, and caring for ourselves fully, to sharing moments with another whole human being

and we begin to discover untouched parts of who we are that we didn’t even know existed. for me personally it feels like such a privilege you know?

like life is something we can all manage independently, we can all achieve our personal goals solo and start building the life we envision for ourselves on our own, and I think that’s amazing, it is amazing, what we are all capable of accomplishing in our own world

but then you meet someone—and then with time, part of your world intertwines with theirs and part of their world becomes yours to care for

i think it’s beautiful how this world is constructed…time can go from feeling slow as ever to feeling like months have gone past in the blink of an eye
